CLEVELAND (WKYC)-- Back in May, Susan Warren was called the "cleaning fairy" in Westlake for entering a home on a whim, cleaning it, then leaving a bill.

Not everyone was thrilled with her choice of activity.

She was arrested May 29 and charged with burglary and trespassing and pleaded not guilty, accused of entering Sherry Bush's Dover Center Road in Westlake on May 22, cleaning it and leaving a $75 bill written on a napkin.

On Tuesday, Warren, 53, of Elyria, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of attempted burglary and trespassing and will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Nov. 26 by Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Peter J. Corrigan.

Warren told police she was driving by the Bush home and "wanted something to do."

Police said Warren washed some coffee cups, took out the trash, vacuumed and dusted inside the house, all while the Bush's 19-year-old daughter was inside the house sleeping at the time.

The daughter heard Warren cleaning but thought her mother had hired a cleaning service.

In her defense, Warren said that she owns a cleaning business and she sometimes enters homes, cleans them and leaves a bill.
