Shooting at Creflo Dollar's World Changers Church International In Georgia; 1 Dead

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. (WXIA/AP) -- The Associated Press and WXIA report that one person is dead after a shooting at World Changers Church International in Georgia on Wednesday morning. The church is headed by Pastor Creflo Dollar.

WXIA in Atlanta reports that investigators know that a person entered the chapel on the church's campus on Burdett Road near Old National Highway in College Park and started shooting. One person, a 48-year-old employee of the church and possibly a member of the production crew, was killed. The victim's name has not yet been released.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, wearing a suit and tie. He fled the scene after the shooting and is still at large.

The church's daycare were evacuated after the shooting. Parents have been called to pick up their children.

Nearby Bethune Elementary School and McNair Middle School were temporarily on lockdown after the shooting, according to a Fulton County Schools spokesperson. The lockdown has since been lifted.

World Changers Church holds a 10 a.m. service on Wednesdays.
