PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (WUSA9) -- NORAD intercepted an airplane flying off the coast of Fla. on Sunday morning.

It happened at around 9:30 a.m., when an F-16 guided a Cessna aircraft to Okeechobee Airport, where the pilot was met by local authorities.

The airplane entered the FAA's temporary flight restricted area near Palm City, when NORAD dispatched the jet.

NORAD did not say anything about the charges, if any, that were brought against the pilot of the Cessna.
