GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for two men who punched an 85-year-old man in the face during a robbery on Sunday night.

According to police at approximately 10:06 p.m., officers responded to the Days Inn in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery. The 85-year-old victim told officers that two males came up to his vehicle while he was inside it and started beating on his window. Then, the two men reportedly opened the door and demanded his wallet, say police.

The two men punched the victim in the face before grabbing his shoulder bag, which contained money and property, according to police. The men fled and the injured victim drove to a gas station to notify police.

Police say the victim refused medical treatment.

Police also say that the victim met a female escort online and went to the parking lot of the hotel to meet her in person before the robbery.

Searches for the suspects were unsuccessful. The suspects were only identified as two black males, wearing dark clothing and ski masks.
