Attempted robbery at Waldorf bank drive-thru, police seeking information

WALDORF, Md. (WUSA9) -- Charles County police need your help identifying a person of interest in an attempted robbery.

On August 27 at about 9:35 p.m., a female victim was at a drive-thru window of a bank on Mall Circle Drive when a suspect with a gun approached her car and demanded money from her deposit bag, officials said.

The victim refused and accelerated out of the drive-thru area, dragging the suspect behind for a short distance. She was able to escape, officials said.
