OWINGS, Md. (WUSA9) -- Maryland State Police are investigating a crash that killed a 17-year-old and injured three others in Calvert County.
The 17-year-old has been identified as Courtney G. Curl of Chesapeake Beach, Md. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened in the area of East Mount Harmony Road at Valley View Court, in Owings shortly before 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
A Chevrolet Camaro driven by Brittany N. Curl, 20, was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and hit another vehicle traveling the opposite way. Peyton R. Curl, 10, was also a passenger in the vehicle. They were both flown to Washington hospitals.
The other vehicle was a Honda Ridgeline driven by Charles A. Wood, 77, of Dunkirk. He was taken to a local hospital.
Police say alcohol or drugs do not appear to be contributing factors in the crash.
