ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WUSA9) -- Residents and businesses living in Annapolis and surrounding areas were not taking any chances with Tropical Storm Andrea on Friday.
The Coastal Flood Advisory that came with the storm was lifted by the National Weather Service, but the area is still expecting up to 4 additional inches of rain. The flooding that comes up the bay doesn't look like it's going to materialize, reports WUSA 9's Scott Broom.
Friday afternoon, we're going to be watching Upper Marlboro and sections around Bowie, Governors Bridge Road, and a number of other locations, including in Laurel, where there's some advisories. They have even blocked off some parking lots in anticipation of flooding.
