BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore police say a man was knocked unconscious after he was punched and fell during a baseball game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Officers say 25-year-old Matthew Fortese of Hagerstown became upset at Thursday night's game because a fan near him was throwing beer at people. Police say Fortese approached the man, identified as 21-year-old Michael Bell of Annapolis, and climbed on a 5-foot wall in front of him.

Authorities say that as Fortese was arguing with Bell, Bell's friend, 22-year-old Gregory Fleischman, punched Fortese on the side of his head.

Police say Fortese fell off the wall onto his head. He was taken to Shock Trauma, where he was in serious condition Friday.

Bell and Fleischman have each been charged with assault.
