Police Looking For Man Who Threw Rocks At House

CHEVY CHASE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Chevy Chase Village Police Department officials say a man caused thousands of dollars in damage to a home when he threw large rocks against it in April.

Police have released surveillance camera photos of the suspect in the vandalism  in the 5500 block of Montgomery Street in Chevy Chase on April 29. Police believe he entered the rear yard of a home before repeatedly striking and damaging an expensive set of French doors and a rear window with rocks.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and 230 pounds, say police. He may be in his 30's. he was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a blue backpack, dark blue work pants and dark shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Chevy Chase Village Police Department at 301-654-7300 or Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this crime.
