WEST LAUREL, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County police have a man in custody after a barricade in the 16100 block of Malcolm Drive in West Laurel on Monday morning.
Police reported that 59-year-old Ronnie Lee Rainey called them from inside the house, threatening to harm himself and stated that he had harmed some family members.
At 10:53 a.m., police reported that the man had surrendered and was taken into police custody.
Police later confirmed that Rainey had fatally shot his wife, 50-year-old Lisa Renee Rainey, and stepdaughter, 27-year-old Ariale Chantre Shelton.
"Two surviving victims, the suspect's teenage son and another man, are cooperating with the police investigation. The teenager was shot at, though neither male was injured," police said in a release.
Rainey is charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
