BETHESDA, Md. (WUSA9) -- A Bethesda woman continues to recover from serious injuries she suffered after being struck on Rockville Pike on Friday, say police.
Police say 35-year-old Michelle Eyre De Sam was struck at approximately 9:30 p.m Friday on Rockville Pike at Cedar Lane amd the driver left the scene. Another driver spotted De Sam unconscious in the roadway, according to police.
Officers believe De Sam was crossing Rockville Pike (Route 355) from east to west in the crosswalk when she was struck in the northbound lanes as she crossed Route 355. Police note that it was raining at the time of the collision.
De Sam was transported to a hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries and she continues to recover in the hospital, say police.

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and/or indictment.
