KENT ISLAND, Md. (WUSA)-- The small community of Kent Island is coming together to mourn the tragic deaths of four teens killed in a tragic wreck.

Tyler, Mike, Corey, and Harrison were described as being a group of inseparable best friends. They were even together up to the time of their deaths on Wednesday.

Queen Anne's County Sheriffs officials say the car the four were in was more than likely speeding when they wrecked head on with another car along the intersection of Cox Neck rd. and Jones rd.

On Thursday night hundreds gathered at Kent Island high school to hold vigil in their honor.

Tyler Elzey or "Elzey" as he was killed was a volunteer firefighter in Kent Island. His buddy Mike who also died in the wreck was a previous member of the same department. The firefighters from the Kent Island Volunteer Department where on hand to lead the heartfelt memorial.

The group of friends were recent graduates of Kent island high.

Their principal, John Schrecongost said , "I think it's fortunate for our recent grads our students and staff for this chance to come together and begin the very lengthy and difficult process of healing."

The man driver of the other car 73-year old Eli Dabich is said to be at Shock Trauma in Baltimore still receiving treatment for his injuries.
