GERMANTOWN, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police have identified the 17-year-old teen found dead in Germantown Md.
Michelle Miller, who was a senior at Rockville High School was found dead along with a 31-year-old man, police said. She was an athlete on the varsity lacrosse team, High School officials said in a letter sent out to parents of students.
Police responded to the call around 8:49 a.m., at the 12900 Block of Pinnacle Drive. Police were looking for the 17-year-old, because she had been reported missing on Monday morning.
A letter sent out by the High School says they do not have information leading to the death of Miller. The letter provides information for other students if they need counseling, "Tomorrow, a support team of psychologists, counselors, and pupil personnel workers from Montgomery County Public Schools will work with our staff members to provide counseling and support to students."
"Detectives believe that the two victims knew each other but cannot confirm the nature of the relationship at this time. This is not believed to be a stranger-based event, and police are not looking for any suspects," police said.
Police are still investigating how the two victims died.
