1 Person Hospitalized After Car Hits Wheaton Building

WHEATON, Md. (WUSA9) -- One person was transported to a trauma center after a car crashed into a building in the 2500 block of Ennalls Avenue in the Wheaton Triangle section of Montgomery County, say Montgomery County Police. Another person was taken to the hospital for a check-up, according to police. There is no word on the extent of the injuries.

Police say the crash happened at approximately 11:18 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle broke out the glass of the building, according to police.

A health inspector was called to the building, which appears to be a Super Chicken.

No other details were immediately available.
