FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- A teacher arrested on allegations he sexually abused two 11-year-old girls in Montgomery County was released on a $100,000 bond on Friday, says the public affairs director for the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office.
Thursday, Montgomery County Police said they arrested Timothy Krupica of Federick, who teaches at Meadow Hall Elementary School in Rockville.
Police say their investigation revealed that between September 2012 and February 2013 Krupica inappropriately touched the girls and forced or attempted to force them to inappropriately touch him on several occasions.
Krupica was charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a minor and several additional sexual offense charges, said police.
A Montgomery County Schools spokesperson said that Krupica has been with Montgomery County Schools since 2009, working at Meadow Hall Elementary the entire time. He is on administrative leave with pay.
