FREDRICK, Md. (WUSA) -- A Germantown man charged for firing shots in a Frederick neighborhood is also accused of involvement in a home invasion/rape case.
According to Frederick Police, on December 8, 2012, shortly before 1:25 a.m. officers responded to the 100 block of W. All Saints St. for a report of gunshots. Once there, they found spent shell casings.
The next day, a detective leading in the investigation into a home invasion/rape case on W. South St. determined the same suspect was involved in the shots fired incident on W. All Saints St.
He determined the case on W. All Saints St. was an isolated event between two rival groups who had been fighting.
Perry Eugene Lee of Germantown, Md. is charged with reckless endangerment, discharge of firearm within the city limit, and dangerous weapon-concealment.
Police continue to investigate the cases.
