FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (WUSA) -- A Maryland middle school teacher is out of jail on bond after being charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, Prince George's County Police said.
The victim was the student of Garnold Maurice King, a 48-year-old social studies teacher at Isaac Gourdine Middle School in Fort Washington.
According to police, the victim told her mother that King sexually assaulted her on and off campus between September 2011 and June 2012.
King, of Upper Marlboro, Md., was arrested and charged with second, third, and fourth degree assault and two counts of sex abuse of a minor.
He was later released on a $125,000 bond.
