PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WUSA) - Four suspects have been arrested in the November 22, 2010 fatal shooting of a Washington, D.C. man., Prince George's County Police said.
Melvin Pate, 29, was found inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound in the 2100 block of Brooks Drive in Capitol Heights. Pate, of the 200 block of 58th Street, Northeast Washington, died on November 8, 2012, due to complications related to the gunshot wound.
The manner of death has since been ruled a homicide.
On November 13, 2012, police officers arrested Jermaine Hailes, 22, of the 4100 block of Massachusetts Avenue, Southeast Washington, and Ciree Petty, 21, of the 2100 block of Brooks Drive in Capitol Heights. On November 14, 2012, police officers arrested Ramel Sandersm 22, of the 11800 block of Birchview Court in Clinton, and Mark Anderson, 22, of the 2300 block of Hope Circle in Waldorf.
The four suspects have been charged with first and second degree murder and related charges.
