ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA) - A suspect is being questioned about allegedly making threats to kill students at Montgomery College, according to Rockville police.
The alleged threats were made by a 19-year-old male student. 9News's Debra Alfarone reports that others overheard him say he was going to "shoot up the campus."
She reports that Montgomery College students got an email saying the alleged wanna-be shooter was upset over a relationship.
No charges have been filed. No weapons have been found.
A spokesperson for Montgomery College credits witnesses for bringing the alleged threats to the attention of the campus security office. She said the campus security office notified Rockville City Police, and that together they worked to find teh suspect on the campus. The incident took place on the Rockville campus located at 51 Mannakee St.
