HYATTSVILLE, Md. (WUSA) - Four men were arrested in connection with a residential burglary, according to Hyattsville police.
When police responded to the report of a burglary on Oct. 31 in the 3500 block of Oliver St., the victim told officers that after leaving her home at 9 a.m., she returned just over three hours later and noticed that several TV sets, electronics and jewelry were stolen.

At 1:36 p.m. the same day, police received a tip that three men were trying to sell TV sets to a local barbershop in the 3000 block of Hamilton St.
Police responded to the area, and initially took five suspects in for questioning. Four suspects were ultimately linked to the Oliver St. burglary.
One suspect made a full confession for the burglary in the 3500 block of Oliver Street , another confessed to transporting and selling the stolen property to an employee of a barbershop. The barbershop employee confessed to buying stolen property. The forth suspect refused to make a statement.
Almost all of the victim's property was recovered and returned to her. The suspects were criminally charged and police are trying to determine if there is a link between the suspects and other recent burglaries in the area.
