WALDORF, Md. (WUSA) -- A son apparently shot his mother, stepfather and then himself in a case of family violence in Waldorf, on Tuesday morning.
Shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to a home on the 3000 block of Seagrape Court in Waldorf for a report of an argument that had turned into a shooting, says a Charles County sheriff's office spokesperson.

Officers found a man and a woman lying on the street in front of the home suffering from gunshot wounds. Officials say the pair were shot inside the home and then fled outside before collapsing on the street. They were taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. We are told they are both in critical condition.
A spokesperson says officers tried to contact anyone inside the home but had no luck. A SWAT Team and police negotiator also had no luck.
Then, at approximately 9:15 a.m., officers went inside the home and found a 33-year-old man, identified as Shea Camya Proctor, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police recovered a handgun. Police say he was the son of the injured woman and stepson of the injured man. His body was taken to the medical examiner's office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
Neighbors have identified the woman as Janice Proctor-Wills, a teacher at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Prince George's County. Faculty records confirmed that name. The injured man was her husband Jeffrey, according to neighbors.
According to police, it is unclear what started the argument, and the investigation is continuing as detectives interview family and friends.
