TAKOMA PARK, Md. (WUSA) -- Police responded to a domestic disturbance and discovered 287.7 grams of heroin. One of the largest drug investigations in the City of Takoma Park to date, according to officials.
On Wednesday, July 11th Takoma Police responded to a call at 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue for failure to vacate the property and threats of assault. Upon arrival police found Aaron Lee Feazell, 34, armed with a knife and was immediately taken into custody.
Chief Ronald Ricucci of the Takoma Park Police Department says shortly after Shamika Nicole Withers, 29, informed officers that three children where alone in a hotel room.
Officers entered the hotel room to check on the children and discovered 153.5 grams of heroin after getting consent to search.
Feazell and Withers, both from D.C. were arrested and charged with possession of a deadly weapon, possession with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine, and related charges.
The next day, officers searched Feazell's car and found an additional 134.2 grams of heroin and 35 grams of crack cocaine.
