Monday Is President's Day; Does Your School Have The Day Off?

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- Many schools around the metro area planned to be off on Monday, but after record snow totals this winter and numerous snow days, some schools are rethinking the holiday.

The following school systems have canceled the holiday and expect students to show up Monday for a make-up day:

In Virginia:

  • Fairfax County (UPDATE: Closed, Teachers/Staff report)
  • Fauquier County (UPDATE: Closed)
  • Frederick County (UPDATE: Closed)
  • Manassas City (UPDATE: Closed, Teachers regular day)

  • Rappahannock (UPDATE: Closed)
  • Shenandoah

    In Maryland:
