WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- This year more than 41,000 people will die from breast cancer. Over 210,000 women are expected to find out they have the disease. Just as surprising, the number of men diagnosed will be more than 1,700.

Breast Cancer does not have to mean a death sentence. With early detection and today's treatments survival rates are great.

On Saturday, October 25 from 8-10 p.m. please join 9NEWS NOW's Anita Brikman and Andrea Roane for the special, "Breast Cancer: The Journey." Anita and Andrea will be exploring cutting edge treatments, new detection tools, and have the latest prevention advice.

The show will also feature Dr. Oz, best selling author and medical expert, along with Dr. Lisa Masterson of the new TV show "The Doctors."

A panel of experts will also be on hand to answer your questions LIVE on throughout the show.

You can also participate in a live discussion with local medical experts. They will be here to answer any questions you might have about breast cancer, it's detection, prevention and treatment. All you have to do is log onto during the show from 8-10 p.m.
