(WUSA9) -- An inaugural charity bowling night gathered a wide range of groups at Lucky Strike, for CÎROC® The Block on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013. Participants competed for the ultimate prize of $1,000 from CIROC. Charities included the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Adam's Morgans' DC Arts Center, Dupont Circle's Capital Pride Organization, U Street's Friends of Harrison Recreation Center, Greater Washington Urban League of Columbia Heights, Chinatown's DC Central Kitchen, Anacostia's The Green Scheme, H Street's H Street Main Street, K Street's Safe Shores and the competition's winner, The Howard Theatre Restoration fund.
