Sahara Clay has been charged for stabbing brother

LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA) -- Police have arrested and charged a suspect in connection to a malicious wounding incident. 

Sahara Clay, 34, of Leesburg, Virginia has been charged with 'Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Felony Eluding, Reckless Driving, and Driving While License is Revoked'.

Police responded to the incident around 1:32 a.m. at the home located on 400 block of Evans Ridge Terrace. A 22-year-old man was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. He had been stabbed by his sibling, Sahara Clay who fled the scene using a family vehicle. The car pursuit ended on Cochran Mill Road where Clay surrendered. A knife was recovered from the car which was believed to have been used in the attack, police said. 

Clay is currently being held in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
