WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A 31-year-old man has been charged in connection to the production of child pornography.
Eric Toth, 31, a former DC teacher was charged today with 'three counts of production of child pornography, one count of misuse of a Social Security number, and one count of identity theft'. He had been in custody since April 20.
Officials said that a charge of production of child pornography carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison and a statutory maximum of 30 years in prison, misuse of a Social Security number carries a statutory maximum of five years of incarceration, and identity theft also carries a maximum of five years.
