WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police say they have arrested a man now living in New Jersey for sexually assaulting a girl between 1991 and 1999.
According to Prince William County Police, a investigation that began earlier this month revealed that the victim, who was 9 years old, was sexually assaulted on several occasions by Michael Redmond, a known acquaintance, in Woodbridge.
Police say they obtained multiple warrants against Redmond, who now lives in Teaneck, NJ. He was found and arrested at his home on Oct. 30.
Redmond, who is now 53 years old, is charged with two counts of rape, four counts of taking indecent liberties with a child, four counts of aggravated sexual battery, and one count of forcible sodomy, according to police.
