STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles says its Sterling Customer Service Center is closed for a little more than 4 weeks for renovations.
Officials say new customer windows, enlarging the testing area and upgrading public restrooms to meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards are among the renovations.
Customers are encouraged to visit another office or go online to conduct business. Officials say those people conducting vehicle-related transactions such as titles, registrations and license plates can visit the Sterling DMV Select at 21641 Ridgetop Circle, Suite 100. Customers should note that DMV Selects does not issue driver's licenses, learner permits or ID cards. For DMV locations and hours of operation, visit www.dmvNOW.com.
The Sterling center is set to reopen Thursday, October 10.
