WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Emergency officials in DC are on the scene of an accident that has injured multiple people, they said.
It happened at South Capitol Street and Martin Luther King Avenue, at around 3:15 p.m., officials said.
Multiple vehicles are involved and at least eight people are requesting to be transported. All of them suffered non-life threatening injuries, DC police said.
WUSA9 has confirmed that there were two vehicles involved in this accident, one SUV which went into a pole at that location.
