L'enfant Metro baby: How to help during an emergency birth

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA9) -- Following the unexpected birth of a baby boy in Washington D.C.'s L'enfant Metro station WUSA9 is passing along helpful hints in case you have to help.

Reporter Ken Molestina solicited the help of a paramedic and a mannequin for simulation explaining some things you can do to help a woman in active labor.

Bob Berry, a paramedic and director of education at the National Institute of Emergency Medical Services, says the three main things to remember is to stabilize the baby, make sure it's breathing, and keep it warm.
