PASADENA, Md. (WUSA9) -- A man has been charged with assault after allegedly hitting another man with a baseball bat early Monday morning in Pasadena, Md.
According to police, at approximately 3:39 a.m., officers responded to the 7700 block of Moonfall Court in Pasadena for a reported assault. A man told them he and another man got into a fight in the parking lot of the Firehouse Pub in Pasadena, say police. After leaving the bar, he and 33-year-old Jason Cole Ripple went back to their home, but the argument continued, say police. Then, Ripple reportedly struck the man several times in the head with a baseball bat.
Officers took Ripple into custody and charged him with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and related charges, according to police.
The man who was was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, say police.
