Melvyn Wilson has won the 2nd prize of $500,000 in the Millionaire Mania Scratcher game.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Melvyn Wilson has won the 2nd prize of $500,000 in the Millionaire Mania Scratcher game, it said in a news release.
This is not the first time for Wilson. In 2005, he won prizes of $1 million and $500,000 in Virginia Lottery Scratcher games. In 2004, he won a $25,000 prize, lottery officials say.
The $500,000 winning ticket was purchased at Handy Dandy market at 13316 Occoquan Road in Woodbridge, Va. The store received a $10,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
"I'm just in the right place at the right time," Wilson says in a press release.
The game's top prize of $2 million still remains unclaimed, leaving a chance for two people to win the grand prize.
