Teens Sought In Attempted Home Burglary In Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County police are looking for three boys between the ages of 14 and 16 after an attempted home burglary in Woodbridge on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say officers responded to the 2000 block of Horizon Court for a burglary in progress at approximately 4:00 p.m. A caller reported to police that she heard glass breaking at a neighbor's apartment and saw three young men standing at the back of the apartment, say police. Another neighbor confronted the boys, who then ran off, according to police.

Police say the teens did not enter the home and no property was reported missing, but they are still looking for the boys.

One boy was described as a white male, between 5'2" and 5'5" and approximately 110 pounds with a thin build. He was wearing a bright purple t-shirt, jeans, a green & brown beanie style hat, black headphones, and glasses at the time, say police.

Police say the second boy was described as Hispanic, 5' tall, and 120 pounds with short black hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.

The third boy was described as Hispanic, 5', between 90 and 120 pounds with a thin build and short brown hair.  He wearing a white t-shirt with a print on the front and jeans, say police.
