WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Months after Superstorm Sandy, there are still some towns in the northeast that are suffering the consequences.

Former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security, Admiral James Loy, was in town for a special panel discussion on how to be prepared for these types of emergencies ahead of time.
