WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Two Harlem Globetrotters are set to dribble and spin pink basketballs across the Francis Scott Key Bridge from Arlington, Va. to D.C. on Wednesday afternoon, says a spokesperson. Mighty Mitchell and Flight Time will dribble and spin PINK basketballs as part of a campaign to fight breast cancer, according to the spokesperson.
According to the spokesperson, Mighty Mitchell and Flight Time Lane will start in front of the Key Bridge Marriott Hotel on Fort Myer Drive in Arlington on 1:30 p.m. and arrive in D.C. at approximately 2 p.m. They will then go to Holy Trinity School on 36th St NW.

Mighty Mitchell, the 11th female Globetrotter in 87 years, and Flight Time will talk to students about the "ABCs of Bullying Prevention" program during a pep rally. The program was developed with the help of the National Campaign to Stop Violence, according to the spokesperson.
The spokesperson says "Globetrotter Week" in D.C. will end with three games at the Verizon Center (Saturday, March 2 at 1 p.m.) and the Patriot Center (Saturday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m.).
