GREAT MILLS, Md. (WUSA) -- A man has been charged with attempted second degree murder after a shooting in Great Mills last week.

Last Monday at 1:22 a.m. officers responded to the 45000 block of Coronado Dr. in Great Mills, Md. for the report of a shooting. They found a 23-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  He was flown by Maryland State Police "Trooper 7" to Prince George's Hospital Shock Trauma Center. He is being treated for his injuries.

Detectives determined there was a fight between the shooting victim and two males and while the victim was struggling with one male, a second male, later identified as 24-year-old Jeramey K. Bradshaw of Landover, approached the victim with a handgun. Officials say Bradshaw shot the victim multiple times.

On Friday, officers found Bradshaw in Calvert County and took him into custody. Bradshaw was charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, Assault 1st Degree and Use of a Handgun in Commission of a Felony.

He is currently being held on $1 million bond.
