NEW ORLEANS, LA (WUSA) -- Following the Ravens win against the 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII, the team misplaced the Lombardi trophy during the postgame celebration.
NFL.com reported that Coach John Harbaugh admitted that the Ravens briefly lost the trophy, which they battled until the end of the fourth quarter to win, in a news conference on Monday.
"We hadn't seen this (trophy) since last night," Harbaugh said. "We thought we lost it."
Harbaugh went on to say that they found the trophy and thanked whoever returned it.
Now the Ravens are gearing up for their Championship Parade, Lombardy Trophy in hand, on Tuesday in Baltimore, Md.
