CHEVERLY, Md. (WUSA) -- The Prince George's County health department made the flu vaccine available for free on Monday at clinics in Cheverly and Clinton.

Anne Arundel County will give away the vaccine at the Glen Burnie Health Center. No appointments are necessary for the clinics.

The special clinics are being offered so that as many people as possible will be vaccinated.

Many pharmacies and supermarkets also still have flu vaccine. There's a fee that's often covered by insurance. The CDC recommends that everyone above the age of six months get vaccinated.
