ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA) -- Parents in Arlington County need to know norovirus has surfaced at two schools.
Parents of students at Patrick Henry Elementary and Randolph Elementary received notices about the outbreak Wednesday.
Norovirus is a gastrointestinal illness. Its symptoms include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
The schools are asking parents to make sure their kids wash their hands frequently and to keep their kids at home if they get sick.
