Men Arrested For Burglary After Tools, Copper Found

CURTIS BAY, Md. (WUSA) -- Two Maryland men are charged with fourth degree burglary and trespassing after pieces of copper were found in a car and burglary tools were found at a house.

On Tuesday at approximately 1:34 a.m, officers responded to the 100 block of Sycamore Rd. in Baltimore for a burglary in progress. Police found one man in front of the house. Another man had fled in a vehicle. 

Detectives spotted the vehicle in the area of Energy Parkway and Solley Road. The driver bailed out of the vehicle but after a short chase, he was taken into custody in the woods.

Police say they didn't find signs of entry into the house but did find pieces of cut copper in the vehicle. Burglary tools were found at the house. 

Thirty year old Robert M. Buck and 29-year-old Paul E. Gardner was arrested and charged.
