WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Both presidential candidates have courted Hispanics, one of the country's fastest growing demographics. Latinos make up about 10 percent of the electorate.

Max Sevillia is the Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs at NALEO, stands for the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials.

Sevillia talked to us on Tuesday morning about the issue Latino voters care about most, whether he thinks Democrats take the Latino vote for granted since historically a large percentage of the Latino vote has gone to them, whether religion adds another layer to voting and the gay marriage issue.
