ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) - Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect in the attempted robbery of an Alexandria gas station.
The suspect, seen in surveillance footage, entered the Shell Gas Station, 4670 Duke Street on October 22, at 7:45 a.m. He implied he had a weapon and demanded money, according to Alexandria Police.
The store employee fought back and the suspect fled without getting any money. He was last on foot heading westbound on Duke Street. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid-30s, 5'10" to 5'11", with a stocky build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
