Prince William County Police say that 32-year-old Alberto Saul Castillo of Woodbridge reportedly knocked loudly on the window of a house in the 15000 block of Lost Canyon Ct in Woodbridge on September 5 at approximately 9 p.m. He got the attention of a 41-year-old woman and 71-year-old man inside the house. the woman recognized Castillo and saw him force his way into the home, say police. Castillo then allegedly confronted her.

During that time, the man was able to call police and report a burglary. Castillo then fled.

Neither the woman nor the man were hurt during the incident.

Castillo is now charged with abduction and burglary with intent to commit assault.  The charges stem from his refusal to leave and also his refusal to let the woman leave the home or call 911, according to a police spokesperson.

Castillo is scheduled to be in court on October 22.
