WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The District knew about flooding problems in the city's Bloomingdale neighborhood six years ago. Now people living there want to know why nothing was done about it.
People had water and sewage flooding their homes after a bad storm in July. At a hearing Tuesday, residents said DC Water knew about the problems there. Now residents are caught in the middle paying for repairs while the city investigates.
A massive project to upgrade the city's sewer system won't be done until 2025.
