WASHINGTON (WUSA) - A second person has been arrested for the deadly shooting in Southeast DC in 2010, the Metropolitan Police Department announced.
Rakeem Willis, 21 of Southeast DC, was arrested on Monday and charged with first degree murder for the death of 21-year-old Christopher Lewis Jones.
On January of 2010, police responded to the 4700 block of Alabama Avenue in SE after reports of a shooting. Officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds inside his car. DC Fire and EMS took the victim, later identified as Jones, to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
In August of 2010, the DC Homicide Branch arrested and charged an adult male with first degree murder while armed.
