Suspect Sought In Pizza Hut Robbery

LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA) - A bandana-clad suspect with a knife allegedly took cash from the register at a Pizza Hut on Monday night after ordering the store's employee to the floor, according to Leesburg Police.

The employee told police that at approximately 10:50 p.m. Monday, the male suspect forced his way into the restaurant in the 300 block of Fort Evans Road, NE. Displaying a knife, he ordered the employee to the back of the store where he had the employee open the register. The suspect tried to cover his own face with a purple bandana.

The employee, who was not injured during the incident, was ordered to the floor while the suspect took all the cash from the register. The employee was ordered by the suspect to stay down. The alleged robber fled the area.

The suspect was described as a male, African American, age unknown, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall, 200 lbs, and unshaven with some stubble on his face.  He was wearing a white shirt with blue lettering on it, light colored shorts and a purple bandana (possible a Baltimore Ravens bandana).
