PALMER PARK, Md. (WUSA) -- A second warrant has been announced in the car theft connected to the crash that killed a Prince George's County Police officer.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Kevon Darnell Neal, 23, of Fort Washington, for auto theft, police said.

Kenneth Clark Mitchell, 25, of Northeast, Washington has already been arrested in the car theft, police said.

Prince George's County Police Officer Adrian Morris was killed trying to chase the two suspects, when he and his partner identified the stolen car Mitchell and Neal were driving, police said.

Morris's police cruiser went off the road on I-95 near the Powder Mill Road exit, then into a ditch.

Morris was ejected from the vehicle and suffered massive head injuries, leading to his death, police said.

He was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the chase and crash, police said.

Prince George's County Police will give more details about the investigation in a news conference at 1 p.m. in Palmer Park, Md.
