SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WUSA) - High winds, possibly a tornado, are blamed for the collapse of two buildings on Sunday evening, according to a spokesman for Spotsylvania County Fire.

Rescue units responded to a call around 6 p.m. for the collapse of a private home and a business on Flemming St. Two adults and two children were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries and three children were treated at the scene.

Dominion Power is trying to isolate the area and make it safe for tonight. The National Weather Service will determine whether the winds constituted a tornado or straight line winds.
