SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. (WUSA) -- Two Spotsylvania men are accused of beating an acquaintance and then stealing his cash and prescription medication this past weekend.
Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office authorities spoke to the victim in the robbery which happened in the 12000 block of Post Oak Rd. The victim told them that Bradley Wayne Meadows and Keevon Lujack Codynah attacked him while they were hanging out together. Authorities say he was struck in the head with a blunt object and suffered a large laceration to the top of his head. Meadows and Lujack reportedly took cash and prescription narcotic pills that were on him. Then, they fled the area in a vehicle.
The two men were apprehended shortly after the robbery was reported. Meadows, 29, and Codynah, 22, are now charged with malicious wounding, conspiracy to commit malicious wounding, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
